Max, Max, Max. Sigh. What have we learned from this little lesson? It is that when one is a finely honed athlete such as ourselves, whose team is depending on us, we do NOT risk getting injured OFF THE CLOCK!!! I shake my head in dismay at all of you, quite frankly. Swim-bike-run people, swim-bike-run. That’s all we should be doing. None of this “basketball with friends” hooey. See where that got you? And now what are the rest of us supposed to do, without you swimming in the Bay ahead of us, breaking up the ice floes, punching sharks, letting us draft? Maybe think about someone other than yourself once in a while, hmm? And that goes for the rest of you too! Annette with the surfing, Heather with the parasailing, Kevin with the mechanical bull riding, Chuck with the Greco-Roman wrestling……..get with the program, folks! Sheesh.
On another note, it’s 10AM and no scintillating new writeup from Ryan on his Morning Workout Day II, dammit. Waiting, waiting………(tapping fingers impatiently)
